Job summary

The TRIGO Group is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Quality Auditor as an Independent Contractor to cover the United States with regional travel. The role emphasizes auditing quality systems, supplier assessments, and ISO 9001 compliance across multiple manufacturing facilities.

You will review processes, assess risks, and produce professional audit reports while communicating findings to facility leadership. Strong independence and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, or related manufacturing operations.
• Experience conducting quality system audits or supplier assessments.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical, communication, and technical report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel.
• ISO 9001 auditor training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site quality system and supplier assessments at manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate quality management systems against ISO 9001 requirements.
• Assess manufacturing processes, production capabilities, and capacity.
• Identify quality, operational, and supplier performance risks.
• Review basic environmental, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability-related requirements.
• Document findings and prepare clear, professional assessment reports.
• Communicate effectively with facility personnel and management.
