Job summary

TRIGO is seeking experienced Manufacturing Quality Auditors to support quality and supplier assessment activities across the United States as independent contractors. The role requires on-site audits at manufacturing facilities with extensive regional travel.

Candidates should have ISO 9001 expertise, strong audit/report-writing skills, and the ability to work independently. Travel-heavy assignments may extend over multiple weeks and locations, with project-based scheduling and competitive

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing quality, supplier quality, or related manufacturing operations.
• Experience conducting quality system audits or supplier assessments.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and manufacturing processes.
• Good analytical, communication, and technical report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including overnight travel.
• ISO 9001 auditor training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site quality system and supplier assessments at manufacturing facilities.
• Evaluate quality management systems against ISO 9001 requirements.
• Assess manufacturing processes, production capabilities, and capacity.
• Identify quality, operational, and supplier performance risks.
• Review basic environmental, health and safety (EHS) and sustainability-related requirements.
• Document findings and prepare clear, professional assessment reports.
• Communicate effectively with facility personnel and management.
