This role focuses on owning and evolving ISO 27001, closing control gaps, validating control effectiveness, and supporting audits, risk management and ongoing compliance activities. Remote, UK & Ireland coverage.

Qualifications

• Strong ISO 27001 knowledge and practical application.
• Experience in security controls, assurance and implementation.
• Security governance, risk management and compliance expertise.
• Comfortable working alongside technical teams and understanding security controls in practice.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning and continuously improving an established ISO 27001 programme.
• Identifying and closing control and compliance gaps.
• Validating that security controls are operating effectively, not just existing on paper.
• Supporting audits, risk management and ongoing compliance activities.
• Partnering with engineering, DevOps and business stakeholders.
• Promoting a security-first culture that enables innovation and growth.
