Job summary

SES Satellites is seeking a Manager, Information Security Management to own and enhance the SES ISMS across domains from McLean, VA. You will drive risk assessments, security projects, and governance, while expanding ISO 27001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS programs.

The role involves stakeholder engagement with business and engineering teams, ensuring compliance with US government and customer requirements. Path to line management for the US team is included.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• Minimum of 9 years of industry-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of information security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST SP-800, SOC 2 and PCI DSS.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned domains of the SES ISMS end to end and drive continuous improvement.
• Perform information security risk assessments for new projects and drive risk treatment to closure.
• Plan and deliver information security projects within time, cost and scope.
• Maintain and expand SES’s certification portfolio (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS) and contribute to SOX audits.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across business and engineering to enable security initiatives.
• Support compliance with US government and customer security requirements.
• Grow into people leadership for the US-based team.
