Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a maintenance professional to operate and maintain irrigation and drainage systems on the island reserve at Ocean Cay. The role includes monitoring water usage, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing equipment as needed.
The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, fluent English, and experience with landscaping or golf course grounds crews. Basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge is a plus; staff accommodation is provided.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Some experience working for a landscaping service or golf course grounds crew.
- Fluent English, verbal and written.
- Knowledge of Rain Bird irrigation systems preferred.
- Knowledge of basic electricity and hydraulics related to irrigation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain irrigation and drainage systems on the island reserve.
- Monitor daily water usage and adjust irrigation settings as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance and keep complete maintenance records.
- Repair irrigation pipes, valves and related equipment.
- Operate dump trucks and light equipment for hauling materials.
- May supervise crews for special projects.
