Job summary

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Marlin Bar Server to provide friendly, attentive service and a welcoming island-inspired dining experience. You will work with a collaborative team to uphold high hospitality standards, safety, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include delivering great guest service, handling cash and the POS system, maintaining cleanliness, verifying IDs for alcohol service, and continuously applying training and feedback to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.
• One year of serving or related experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Must have current food handler’s card and alcohol service certification as required by law.
• Safe food handling procedures.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage.
• Organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on service and sales goals.
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards are met throughout the restaurant.
• Verify valid identification when serving alcoholic beverages.
• Follow policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned.
