Job summary

The Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. at Ishpeming, MI is seeking a Shift Manager Mine Maintenance to lead the mine maintenance team and oversee safe, reliable equipment operations at the Tilden Mine site. The role requires directing work, coordinating orders, and maintaining standards to drive high performance.

You will foster teamwork, communicate expectations, and ensure adherence to process standards while supporting continuous improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rotate shifts.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within the mine maintenance department to ensure safe work and compliance with site, federal, state, and local standards.
• Direct, coordinate, and motivate personnel to meet department performance targets.
• Promote teamwork and clear communication of expectations and assignments."
• Follow site Maintenance Process Standards.
• Maintain standard jobs, work orders, APLs, component tracing, cost information, and inventory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
