Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating IBM i / AS400 / iSeries systems.
• Direct experience supporting Infor XA / MAPICS ERP.
• Command-line proficiency (CL, WRKACTJOB, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Monitor IBM i / AS400 / iSeries systems for messages and errors.
• Manage job scheduler and monitor active batch jobs.
• Ensure backups and nightly operations complete successfully.

Skills

Experience operating IBM i / AS400 / iSeries systems

Support experience with Infor XA / MAPICS ERP

Command-line proficiency

Familiarity with DB2 for i and SQL queries

Understanding of work management concepts

Experience with IBM Power hardware

Knowledge of TCP/IP, SMTP, and FTP

Strong documentation skills
