Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace URDP offers a summer internship for ISC Engineering and Supply Chain tracks, designed to give a three-month project aligned to the student’s major and prepare for future full-time opportunities in the Aerospace Development Program.

This internship provides hands-on exposure to production and engineering, with mentorship in a global organization. Relocation benefits and short-term housing are available if needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Computer Science with graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Validated academic excellence (GPA 3.0+)
• Due to U.S. export control laws, candidate must be a U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
• Honeywell Aerospace requires work authorization in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Honeywell Aerospace URDP offers a summer intern program for positions in ISC Engineering and Supply Chain career paths. The summer internship program is designed to provide the candidate with a three-month project assignment that is related to their major and prepare them for future full-time opportunities in the Aerospace Development Program. This is provided for students to help gain a broad appreciation of Aerospace’s end-to-end business and the importance of customer approachability, meeting program milestones, making processes more efficient, driving production plans, and improving product quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist production and operations to successfully execute deliveries to our customers
• Drive process improvement projects to drive efficiency and reduce waste
• Work with world-class engineers on new Aerospace technology
• Provide engineering assistance where needed
• Interact with various levels of management to achieve internship objectives
• Present at the end of internship to executive management

Location: This position is available in Poenix, AZ.

The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

The hourly base range for this position is $25.00/hr - $40.25/hr. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science
• Must attain degree between December 2027- June 2028
• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
