Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Specialty Mechanical Service Technician II to join our safety-conscious team in a full-time role. The position involves diagnosing leaking components, performing leak mitigation, and collaborating with field teams while travel to various sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license required.
  • HAZWOPER training certification is a plus.
  • Willing to travel 50-70% of the time.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be physically able to walk, climb and perform field duties.
  • Effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment by following safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose issues with leaking components and report findings to supervision/engineering teams.
  • Conduct leak mitigation tasks and use safety equipment as needed.
  • Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with field teams, client representatives, and management.
  • Travel to various sites may be required; work at indoor/outdoor industrial settings.
  • Interact with team members and clients; operate near production machinery with high noise levels.
  • Wear appropriate PPE and maintain safety throughout site work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a safe and secure working environment by complying with company and customer safety standards and legal regulations. Promptly addresses any safety concerns.
  • Adheres to all company policies and demonstrates commitment to our core values.
  • Diagnoses issues with leaking components, reporting findings to supervisory staff and engineering teams.
  • Conducts leak mitigation tasks, which may include:
  • Identify situations requiring the use of safety equipment.
  • Completes necessary documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Works collaboratively with field teams, client representatives, and management.
  • Keeps informed about the company's products and services to better assist customers.
  • Based at a branch or on-site location.
  • Involves both indoor and outdoor work in industrial settings.
  • Interaction with team members, supervisors, and clients.
  • Working near production machinery with high noise levels.
  • Required to use personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to different job sites and weather conditions.
  • Travel to various sites may be required.
QUALIFICATIONS
