Job summary

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is looking for a HydroBlaster/Field Technician to work at various customer locations, assisting with water treatment systems and hydrostatic testing. This role requires hands-on operation of hydroblasting equipment and other specialized tools while maintaining a strong safety posture on site.

You'll work with emergency and industrial equipment, drive company or personal vehicles as needed, and be part of a team that values safety, training, and growth

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Language: understand English to follow safety training and instructions.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with company driving policy.
  • OSHA certification may be required; TWIC may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate hydroblasting equipment and related machinery.
  • Run high-pressure pumps and associated cleaning equipment on sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and peripherals.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and customer requirements.
  • Provide excellent service at customer locations and maintain relationships.

Job description

HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, in Location is looking for a HydroBlaster /Field Technicians to work at various customer locations, and to join their safety conscious team!This team member is responsible for the successful execution of setting up and assisting with water treatment systems, pipeline hydrostatic testing and various other responsibilities. The **** HydroBlaster /Field Technician serves as representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;

  • Hands-on operation of manual and automated Hydroblastingequipment;

  • Operation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;

  • Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized Hydroblasting and/or Chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job;

  • May be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations;

  • Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit and all peripherals, including industrial vacuuming equipment and the disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials;

  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job;

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;

  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;

  • Valid driver license and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;

  • OSHA certification may be required for this job;

  • Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;

  • May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

  • Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
