Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced senior software engineer in Kentucky to analyze, design, and develop systems based on user specifications. You will provide technical assistance, work with API-enabled apps, and apply event-driven architecture while staying current with industry trends.

A strong learning mindset and collaboration on product teams are essential. The role requires 7+ years in Java, SQL proficiency with Oracle/Snowflake, and familiarity with DevSecOps and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of development experience using Java.
• Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures; knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake.
• 2+ years of production support, infrastructure engineering or administration experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps and container-based technologies, including deployment pipelines.
• Learning mindset with openness to learn new technologies and experiment.
• Certifications like cloud architect/engineer/developer are strongly preferred.
• Experience working on product teams and awareness of agile practices.
