Job summary

Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) is contracting with Hamilton Local Schools to place an Educational Aide at Hamilton Intermediate School in Columbus. The position is full-time, 7.5 hours per day, 187 days per year, with a base daily rate of $136.95.

Responsibilities include ensuring student safety, working with students individually or in small groups, and interacting positively with staff, students, and parents.

Qualifications

Description: Hamilton Local School District is seeking aFull TimeEDUCATIONAL AIDEassigned to Hamilton Intermediate School starting on ASAP, to be contracted through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO), to work7.5 hours a day, with a 187 day contract per year. Current educational aide base daily rate is $136.95.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Acceptable Ohio BCI & FBI background checks.
• Obtain a Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education (once hired).
• Ensure safety of students.
• Work with students both individually and in small groups.
• Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents.
• Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation.
