Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Civil litigation experience.
• Insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Deposition, motion practice, mediation, and courtroom experience highly valued.
• Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively.
• Strong communication, organization, and client service skills.
• Attorneys at varying stages of their careers will be considered based on relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials as appropriate.
• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and exposure.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding case developments and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys.
• Manage deadlines while maintaining high-quality work product.
