Position Purpose

The Interventional Radiographer performs angiographic procedures, including invasive vascular treatments and examinations, at a technical level consistent with optimal image quality. Responsibilities also include non‑clinical tasks to ensure high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional procedures while maintaining optimal image quality.
• Enter online charges in the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure accuracy in compliance with administrative policy.
• Participate in on‑call coverage as required.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines as outlined in the MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold a valid State of Ohio radiologic license. CI or CV registry preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in all phases of diagnostic radiography; experience with angiography, cardiac catheterization, or surgery preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
