Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio is seeking an Interventional Radiographer for full-time daytime coverage. You will perform interventional procedures, ensure accurate RIS charges, and participate in on-call as needed.

Qualifications include ARRT Radiographer certification, an Ohio radiology license, BLS, and at least two years' diagnostic radiography experience; electrophysiology or cath lab exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered as Radiographer by ARRT.
• Valid State of Ohio Radiological License.
• Current BLS.
• Two years' work experience in diagnostic radiography; electrophysiology/angiography/cardiac cath/surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs interventional procedures with image quality in mind.
• Enter online charges in RIS and ensure accuracy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Follow Radiation Safety guidelines per policy.

What You Will Do

• Performs a variety of interventional procedures both professional and non-clinical consistent with optimal image quality.
• Responsible for entering on-line charges in the computer system (Radiology Information System-RIS) and accountable for charges as specified by the Administrative Policy, ensuring a high level of accuracy.
• Participates in On-Call coverage as applicable.
• Follows guidelines for Radiation Safety as outlined in MCHS Radiation Safety Policy Manual.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
• Registry Licensure:
  • Registered as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Valid State of Ohio Radiological License
  • Current BLS
• Experience: Two years' work experience in diagnostic radiography; with electrophysiology lab, angiography, cardiac catherization, or surgery experience preferred
