An established industry player is seeking a skilled infrastructure support specialist with extensive experience in middleware administration. This role involves managing security certificates, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring system performance across various platforms. Primary Responsibilities:
Must have IRS MBI Public Trust.
Manage and renew security certificates for EAIB servers, including Java Messaging Service (JMS) servers, Universal Messaging servers, and IS Adapters.
Triage P1–P4 incidents using EAIB operational guidance; perform server, application, and database restarts and troubleshooting.
Create, update, and mitigate security vulnerabilities through POA&M (Plan of Action and Milestones); apply patches and obtain cybersecurity clearance.
Perform post-maintenance health checks after OS, DB, and MQ patching; validate system performance and service availability.
Monitor MQ connectivity between EAIB and IBM mainframe; ensure messaging integrity across layers.
Coordinate with EST to validate and clear EAIB queues for scheduled testing events like PETE.
Update credentials for JDBC Adapter, My webMethods Server (MWS), and Optimizer databases.
Review and validate EAIB VMs based on daily health check alerts.
Support capacity planning, performance monitoring, and workload analysis for infrastructure modernization initiatives.
Conduct technical impact analysis of system dependencies; recommend mitigation strategies.
Manage traceability of integration activities across development, build, release, and verification phases.
Define strategies for applying program management, testing, and development tools throughout the integration lifecycle.
Provide technical oversight and coordination during testing phases across multiple projects.
Required Skills:
5+ years experience in infrastructure support or middleware administration.
Familiarity with WebMethods.
Experience with Linux, Windows, and Solaris platforms.
Scripting or automation experience (Ansible, Python, Shell).
Must have IRS MBI Public Trust clearance.
