Goodwill Central Texas is seeking a qualified and seasoned Custodial Site Project Manager to support our Federal Contract with the IRS. The IRS Custodial Site Project Manager is responsible for successfully managing their assigned contracts. The IRS Custodial Site Project Manager coordinates activities of IRS custodial to meet contract specifications. This position may perform duties absent of lead custodians.
Role And Responsibilities
- Ensure contractual compliance through surveillance and hands-on audits and inspections at IRS worksite.
- Responsible for performance of work completed by all employees, supported employees service recipients, supervisors, and lead custodians at assigned contract site.
- Communicate effectively with building managers, supervisors, lead custodians and employees. Take immediate correction action to address concerns.
- Facilitate continuous improvements strategies while developing work procedures and implementing quality control plans for IRS worksite with support from Operations Manager.
- Develop/maintain processes and procedures that ensure the safety of our employees.
- Coach, train, mentor and provide technical support to customers, site supervisors and lead custodians.
- Submit supply orders and manage inventory levels at assigned contract sites.
- Ensure all staff members are reporting to work dressed professionally and motivated to perform daily duties.
- Display the highest ethical standards when making decisions related to our people and business.
- Represent the organization in the community in a professional manner.
- Willingness to delegate authority when needed.
- Attend and participate actively in all departmental meetings with open and direct communication.
- Protect and monitor our capital equipment.
- Coordinate and physically direct job startups as well as job closures.
- Enhance safety program by following all federal, state and agency safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has supervisory responsibilities over custodian team leads, floor technicians and custodians.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years prior management experience in custodial management of the approximate size and complexity of the IRS facility.
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Flexible, adaptable and embraces change.
- Proficiency with MS Office products and Google Suite.
- Ability to gather and analyze data to make informed decisions.
- Strong customer service orientation, flexibility, and an aptitude for collaborating with fellow team members, and community partners.
- Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Creative and flexible problem solving; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Meticulous and a passion for accuracy.
- Proficiency in English and basic math skills.
- Reliable transportation with valid driver license and proof of insurance with ability to various worksites.
- Background must meet the requirements of the IRS Federal Contract.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to include a minimum of two night shifts per month and ability to work weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to use hands and fingers to operate a telephone and keyboard.
