TaxRise is seeking a Tax Specialist (IRS Support) to lead case management with the IRS and state agencies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates. You will serve as the main point of contact, manage POA submissions, and maintain detailed records in our systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective client outcomes.

This 100% on-site role in Irvine, CA emphasizes precise records, proactive communication, and efficiency in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Active PTIN and CAF Number with the IRS, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in CRM systems and tax platforms
• Proficient in G Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

Responsibilities

• Manage communication with the IRS and state tax agencies to resolve client cases
• Submit Power of Attorney (POA) forms and ensure all related documentation is complete and accurate
• Maintain detailed records and upload IRS transcripts to our internal systems
• Track case progress and ensure all case notes are accurately logged in our CRM
• Collaborate with Enrolled Agents, Case Managers, and Sales to deliver exceptional client outcomes
• Assist with various tasks and responsibilities to support team success
• Keep client information confidential in accordance with company policies
