Irrigation Technician

Qualifications

• Thoroughly test, diagnose, and resolve problems with irrigation systems
• Install, test, and adjust sprinkler heads, pop-ups, and rotors
• Install, program, and maintain clocks, timers, and rain sensors
• Track and trouble-shoot electrical components
• Install, test, repair, and replace outdoor low voltage lighting
• Repair pipe leaks
• Complete residential/commercial spring turn on and fall winterization
• Complete residential/commercial system inspections
• Communicate clearly with customers
• Program/reprogram basic controllers
• Inspect plumbing tap and backflow preventer

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
• Able to work independently or on a team
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs throughout your shift
