This is NOT an entry level position; at least 1 year of verified work experience as a Landscape Irrigation Technician is required. Candidates must provide a previous employer's contact information for verification!

STARTING RATE OF PAY IS $20 PER HOUR AND COULD INCREASE DEPENDING ON PREVIOUS WORK EXPERIENCE AND ANY CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES YOU HOLD.

Minimum Requirements of the Role:

• Valid Driver's License: Applicants must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Chauffeur’s Endorsement: A chauffeur’s (For Hire) endorsement or chauffeur’s license may be required.
• Previous Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a Landscape Irrigation Technician.
• DDOT Medical Card: Preferred. If not available, candidate must pass a medical exam including a drug test (Federal requirement).

Here’s what you’d do:

An Irrigation Technician foresees potential problems and has the skills to solve them. Careful planning and proactive work-style are highly valued at BrightView. Your mindset and proactive approach align with customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshooting and repairing problems, observing pipe and valve placements, and evaluating start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting detailed inspections and planning/executing upgrades of client systems.

You might be a good fit if you have:

• At least 1 year of experience in installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems, along with supervisory skills and a proactive manner.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe sizing.

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

• Bilingual in Spanish.
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends.
