Job description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Irrigation Technician / Installer to join our team. Prior irrigation experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Please send your resume to [e-mail].

Responsibilities

1. Install irrigation systems according to plans and specifications.
2. Perform regular system maintenance, including:
1. System start-up in spring.
2. Inspecting and repairing sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and other components.
3. Programming and adjusting controllers for optimal watering schedules.
4. Winterizing systems to prevent freezing damage.
5. Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components (sprinkler heads, pipes, pumps, controllers, etc.).
6. Complete and submit required paperwork accurately.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Valid Driver’s License.
3. Experience operating irrigation equipment (e.g., vibratory plow, trencher, boring machine, air compressor) is a plus but not required.
4. Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs.
5. Ability to troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems.
6. Perform routine irrigation maintenance safely and efficiently.
