Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking an Irrigation Technician to install, test, and maintain irrigation systems including sprinklers, pumps, and water lines. The role may involve trenching and wiring for water timers, with emphasis on safety and accurate reporting.

The incumbent will design and service irrigation controllers, assist with diagnosing problems, and supervise field staff while ensuring OSHA-compliant practices and thorough documentation of all work orders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of irrigation trade methods, tools and practices.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for site assessments.
• Familiarity with PVC installation techniques.
• Understanding of safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Designs, installs, troubleshoots, and repairs irrigation controllers and electrical components.
• Assists field personnel with diagnosing irrigation problems.
• Maintains records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Operates equipment safely and reports unsafe conditions.
• Communicates issues with supervisors and prepares reports.
