The City of Austin's Parks and Recreation Department seeks an Irrigation Technician II to maintain and repair golf course irrigation systems citywide. You will program, operate, and service the grounds irrigation and drainage network, and assist in all areas of golf course maintenance.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining irrigation components, reading blueprints and plans, and coordinating with other City staff.

Qualifikationen

• Two years in installing and maintaining irrigation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.
• Knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to travel to multiple work locations.

• Digs trenches and lays pipe for irrigation systems.
• Sets up or operates backhoe, trencher, or other equipment.
