Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co in Lilburn, GA seeks an Irrigation Technician to support our Atlanta-area maintenance branches. The role involves inspecting and repairing commercial irrigation systems, advising on upgrades, and maintaining equipment and safety practices.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of irrigation experience, basic read of diagrams, and able to lift 50 lbs. A DOT medical card may be required. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year of irrigation maintenance/installation in commercial or residential settings
• Basic knowledge of construction plans/diagrams
• Irrigation certification(s) preferred
• Experience servicing and troubleshooting irrigation systems preferred
• Familiarity with smartphones and basic computer operations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT medical card
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Perform routine irrigation inspections for designated properties
• Identify and resolve irrigation system issues through troubleshooting
• Replace or repair components (pipes, sprinklers, valves, timers)
• Provide upgrade recommendations tailored to clients’ needs
• Manage irrigation inventory and organize tools and materials
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
• Maintain company vehicles in safe condition and professional image
• Manage job hours for assigned tasks
• Participate in training and continued education
• Complete daily reports including property, estimates, and timecards
