Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is hiring an Irrigation Technician to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. We are looking for an up and comer who is professional, can complete wet checks, basic clock installation, valve tracking and repair, and then help with upsells to the clients.

The role involves reading plans, performing seasonal services, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of irrigation installation and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and irrigation layouts.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate trenchers, pipe pullers, and other equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, drip systems, and pumps
• Read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints
• Ensure proper system programming and water management practices
• Perform seasonal services such as system start-ups, winterizations, and inspections
• Monitor job progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Maintain accurate job records, material usage, and daily reports
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members
• Enforce company safety policies and ensure proper use of PPE
• Operate company vehicles, trailers, and equipment safely

Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak season
