Job summary

Landscapes USA in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Irrigation Technician to manage installation, service, and repair of irrigation systems for commercial and residential properties. You will troubleshoot controllers, valves, wiring, and sprinkler heads to ensure efficient operation.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and a commitment to safety. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; pre-employment drug test and background check are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of irrigation installation and repair experience (commercial experience required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to operate tools, trenchers, and other equipment safely.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Knowledge of smart irrigation systems and water conservation practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems for commercial and residential landscapes.
• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic irrigation problems, including controllers, valves, wiring, and sprinkler heads.
• Perform inspections, adjustments, and seasonal system startups/shut-downs.
• Monitor water usage and make recommendations for efficiency and conservation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors, and team members.
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and safety requirements.
