Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Naples, FL seeks an Irrigation Technician to maintain and optimize our landscapes' irrigation systems for health, beauty, and sustainability. You will install, inspect, repair, and program equipment while supporting water-conservation goals and adhering to Four Seasons standards.

You will collaborate with Landscaping, Engineering, and Grounds teams to keep guest areas pristine and ensure reliable irrigation operations year-round.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in irrigation, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or similar roles preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and water-efficiency practices.
• Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans, maps, and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with other departments.
• Computer proficiency; experience with digital irrigation controllers is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in outdoor environments.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of irrigation systems and identify leaks, breaks, or malfunctions.
• Install, repair, and replace irrigation lines, valves, controllers, drip systems, and sprinkler heads.
• Program, monitor, and adjust controllers for seasonal changes and water-efficiency needs.
• Troubleshoot electrical irrigation issues including solenoids, wiring, and controller communication.
• Coordinate with Landscaping to align watering with plant health and aesthetic standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of repairs, updates, and water usage adjustments.
• Monitor pump stations, filters, and backflow preventers for proper function and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with major landscape projects requiring irrigation planning or rerouting.
• Keep work areas and tools organized and in good condition.
• Address urgent irrigation issues promptly and escalate when appropriate.

Summary:

The Irrigation Technician is essential tomaintainingthe beauty, health, and sustainability of our landscapes by ensuring all irrigation systemsoperateefficiently and reliably.
