Position Summary:

This is a hands-on, full-time position responsible for managing and checking irrigation systems, including testing, repairing, installing, maintaining, and operating irrigation systems.

Salary:

$24-38 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
  1. Locate, excavate, and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
  2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and monitor all aspects of residential irrigation systems, including valve and manifold repair and rebuilding.
  3. Install and maintain new residential systems.
  4. Complete work order repairs accurately and timely to improve irrigation systems.
  5. Test soil and vegetation to determine irrigation needs.
  6. Map out areas for irrigation installation.
  7. Dig trenches and install pipes and lines.
  8. Install pumps and electrical timers.
  9. Conduct routine maintenance checks.
  10. Test complete irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers.
  11. Establish and maintain client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
  12. Assist with all snow removal duties as needed.
  13. Assist with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years of residential irrigation assembly, troubleshooting, and repair experience required.
