Job summary

A leading landscape maintenance company is seeking an Irrigation Technician to conduct inspections and repairs of irrigation systems. You will identify problems, manage inventory, and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication. Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and a valid driving license. The position offers competitive pay and a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience performing irrigation maintenance in commercial/residential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with smartphones and basic computer operations.
• Experience with servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial/residential irrigation systems, preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors, preferred.
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with clients.
• Familiarity with smartphones and basic computer operations.
• Strong written, verbal, and personal communication skills.
• Must have a valid driving license, with a clean record, no major violations in the last 3 to 5 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, squat, reach for long periods and lift a minimum of 50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage irrigation inventory, ensuring all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are fully stocked and organized for maximum efficiency
• Promote and adhere to safety protocols by ensuring a safe working environment
• Maintain company vehicles in a safe condition to reflect the company's professional image
• Effectively manage job hours for assigned tasks
• Actively participate in in‑house training and continued education
• Complete daily reports for work completed, including property reports, estimates and timecards

• Possess irrigation certification(s), preferred

• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, timers and sensors, preferred
• Ability to effectively interact and communicate with clients
• Familiarity with smartphones and basic computer operations
