Qualifications

NorthStar Memorial Group - Irrigation Technician

NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking an Irrigation Technician at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. Our maintenance teams are dedicated to maintaining our grounds with attention to detail and tradition, ensuring a respectful and comforting environment for families. This role involves maintaining cemetery grounds, performing groundskeeping, installing crypt faces, memorials, and monuments, conducting interments, and handling repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Grounds Keeping: Mowing, trimming, planting, opening/closing cemetery gates, marker installation, gravesite setup, minor irrigation repairs, and operating backhoe and vault equipment.
• Irrigation Systems: Repair, replacement, inspection, testing, installation, programming, and designing irrigation layouts.
• Facilities Cleaning: Maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of funeral home and mausoleum facilities, minor concrete work, and assisting with casket loading/unloading.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 12 months of groundskeeping and/or maintenance experience
• Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician
• Knowledge of irrigation systems

Compensation and Benefits

• $28.00-$32.00/hr
