Job description

As a member of the Ground Guys team, you perform landscape maintenance and design at high levels of quality and service. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

You are self-motivated, thrive in fast-moving environments, and are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines. You have at least two years of electrical, plumbing, or irrigation experience and proven communication skills with supervisors, employees, and customers. We offer work all year as a full-service landscape maintenance provider, extending our work season with Holiday Lighting, Snow/Ice Management, and Winter tree work ensuring that our employees are productive and profitable, even during the off-season.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Performs irrigation startups, winterizations, and service work, as well as system installation and enhancements.
2. Ability to assess maintenance issues, such as leaks, low voltage wiring issues, etc.
3. Troubleshoot and repair.
4. Perform landscape enhancement activities such as mulch application, plantings, topsoil application, lawn seeding.
5. Address clients' questions, comments, and concerns or refer clients to the Team Leader as appropriate.
6. Assist Team Leader with route and job planning and organization, thereby ensuring sufficient resources and materials are readily available.
7. Assist with irrigation installations.
8. Assist with equipment maintenance and repair under the supervision of the Team Leader.
9. Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

1. 2 years minimum experience in electrical, plumbing, or irrigation industry.
2. High school diploma/GED (or current student status).
3. One year experience in this or a related field is required.
4. Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
5. Willingness to work occasional (paid) overtime.
6. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds to waist level and perform all other physical requirements associated with a position of this nature.
