Job summary

Teed & Brown, Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Technician to gain hands-on experience with irrigation systems and lawn care. You will troubleshoot water and pressure issues, repair and replace heads, nozzles, and valves, and maintain irrigation systems.

You’ll work outdoors on beautiful properties, identify turfgrass species, and collaborate with field teams to ensure client satisfaction while advancing your certifications and skills.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years irrigation industry experience.
• Willingness to complete required training to obtain certifications/licenses.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As an Irrigation Technician at Teed & Brown, you will build expertise in irrigation systems and lawn care through hands‑on experience and training. You’ll troubleshoot water and pressure issues, repair and replace heads, nozzles, and valves, and maintain irrigation systems.

In this role, you will:

• Work outdoors on beautiful properties to ensure healthy and efficient irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems to meet client needs.
• Identify turfgrass species and common pests or diseases.
• Apply irrigation system knowledge to deliver high‑quality service.
• Collaborate with field teams and contribute to delivering outstanding client experiences.

About You

You are:

• Eager grow within the irrigation and lawn care industry.
• Passionate about working outdoors and solving problems.
• Interested in gaining certifications and advancing your expertise.
• Responsible, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Skilled in communication, both verbal and written, to understand and meet client needs.
• Ideally holding a degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred but not required).

What is Essential

• Willingness to complete required training to obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
• Must have 2 or more year's experience in the irrigation industry
• Desire to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating service vehicles
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
