Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems and oversee water resource usage. You will also perform landscaping tasks, manage inventory, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities include system inspections, troubleshooting, and designing new irrigation layouts, while adhering to company policies. A valid driver’s license and 18+ age are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of related experience and/or training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read and comprehend English for work instructions.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, landscape management, and irrigation system components.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems including controls, wiring, and plumbing components.
• Inspect systems regularly and troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and install new irrigation designs.
• Manage inventory of irrigation parts and equipment.
• Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, pruning, and watering.
• Maintain clean, safe, and well‑kept work areas.
• Collaborate professionally with internal and external guests.
