Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, Irrigation in Miami, FL. The role focuses on installing and maintaining irrigation systems, performing seasonal work, and operating heavy equipment safely.

You will document work, update logs, and coordinate with managers and partners to meet service timelines. Ideal candidates have experience with irrigation components and basic tooling, plus the ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Qualifications

• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Installs irrigation system components, including controllers, wiring, valves, heads, rotors, bubblers, drip lines, and piping.
• Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs irrigation systems; conducts pressure testing and restores performance.
• Performs seasonal maintenance such as winterizing systems and spring startup.
• Operates heavy equipment and vehicles safely while performing maintenance tasks.
• Responds to work orders and coordinates with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners.
• Uses devices to complete work orders, update logs, and maintain documentation.
• Creates reports and maintains information in electronic systems.
