Job summary

PRIDE Industries seeks an Irrigation Tech Lead to oversee and coordinate irrigation systems across multiple facilities on an onsite basis. You will manage task prioritization, supervise technicians, and ensure high-quality irrigation system performance, including timers, sensors, and central controllers.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of sprinkler irrigation experience, strong knowledge of hydraulics and piping materials, and effective communication skills to coordinate with vendors and staff.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in sprinkler irrigation installation, repair and maintenance.
• Ability to use relevant hand tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of basic hydraulics and piping materials such as PVC/plastic, metal, copper and ABS.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to interact with vendors, customers and management.
• Ability to travel between facilities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and assigns tasks, coordinating work schedules for coverage and special projects.
• Maintains supplies, stock and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Trains and assists workers on the job site.
• Reviews and ensures safety standards are met across tasks.
• Repairs breaks in water lines and adjusts valves; performs excavation when required.
• Installs irrigation systems and controllers; manages weather stations and sensors.
• Programs central control system and monitors water usage.
