Job summary

Village Green Landscapes is seeking a full-time Irrigation Service Technician in the Twin City area to maintain and repair irrigation systems. The role can be based out of Saint Paul, New Brighton, Brooklyn Park or Savage, with year-round employment including snow removal duties in winter.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting irrigation issues, identifying water sources, valves and heads, wiring remotes, and keeping systems efficient and well-watered. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience with irrigation system maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform irrigation maintenance and repair tasks including identifying water source, back flow, and meters for client irrigation.
• Locate isolation valves.
• Wire in and use irrigation remotes.
• Replace and adjust irrigation heads.
• Repair poly and PVC pipes.
• Replace valves.
• Program irrigation controllers.
