Job summary

Clean Scapes LLC is seeking an Irrigation Repair Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial landscape irrigation systems. This hands-on role covers controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, piping, wiring, and other components across our outdoor service areas.

The ideal candidate will diagnose problems, perform necessary repairs, and verify system operation while documenting work and communicating with supervisors and clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Irrigation Systems: diagnose leaks, pressure, coverage, electrical, and controller issues.

• Controller troubleshooting: inspect, program, and adjust controllers for proper operation.
• Locate leaks and test systems after repairs to confirm resolution.
• Document repairs, materials used, and any follow-up recommendations.

We have a company characterized by a hardworking, highly competent, and friendly team.POSITION SUMMARY:Clean Scapes is seeking an experienced Irrigation Repair Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial landscape irrigation systems. This is a hands-on field position responsible for diagnosing irrigation problems and completing the necessary repairs to keep systems operating properly and efficiently. The Irrigation Repair Technician will work with controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, piping, wiring, and other irrigation components while supporting commercial properties throughout the assigned service area.The ideal candidate has strong irrigation repair experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently to identify problems and determine the appropriate repair.ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot Irrigation Systems: Diagnose leaks, pressure problems, coverage issues, electrical problems, controller issues, and other irrigation system deficiencies.Perform Irrigation Repairs: Repair and replace valves, sprinkler heads, nozzles, piping, fittings, wiring, and other irrigation system components.Controller Troubleshooting: Inspect, troubleshoot, program, and adjust irrigation controllers to ensure proper system operation and scheduling.Locate & Repair Leaks: Identify the source of irrigation leaks or system failures and complete appropriate repairs.Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose basic irrigation electrical issues involving controllers, valves, solenoids, wiring, and related components.System Adjustments: Adjust sprinkler heads, nozzles, coverage, pressure, and system settings to improve irrigation performance and efficiency.Inspect Completed Repairs: Test systems following repairs to confirm proper operation and ensure the original issue has been resolved.Document Work: Accurately document identified issues, repairs completed, materials used, and any additional recommended work.Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine irrigation maintenance and identify potential problems before they result in larger system failures.Field Communication: Communicate repair needs, completed work, and additional recommendations to supervisors, team members, and clients when appropriate.Equipment & Safety: Properly maintain tools and equipment and follow all company safety procedures while working in the field.EXPERIENCEPrevious professional experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing landscape irrigation systems required.Strong hands-on knowledge of commercial irrigation systems.Experience repairing valves, sprinkler heads, piping, controllers, wiring, and other irrigation components.Ability to independently diagnose irrigation problems and determine appropriate repairs.Experience troubleshooting irrigation controllers and basic electrical components.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to accurately document completed repairs and additional repair needs.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.Commercial landscaping or commercial irrigation experience is highly preferred.LICENSES:TX Driver License - PreferredTCEQ Irrigator License is not required.PHYSICAL DEMANDSAbility to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including Texas heat and cold.Ability to walk commercial properties and job sites for extended periods.Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work at ground level while troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems.Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment.Comfortable performing physical labor, including digging and accessing underground irrigation components.Ability to safely work around active commercial landscaping operations and outdoor job-site conditions.Why Join Clean Scapes?Competitive Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package through United Health Care Shared Services that reflects your skills and experience.Professional Growth: We believe in investing in our team members.
