Ruppert Landscape is seeking an Irrigation Production Manager to lead multiple irrigation crews for our Northern VA Maintenance team, reporting from Gainesville, VA. The role emphasizes training, scheduling, and ensuring high-quality irrigation work across commercial properties.

Qualified candidates will have strong irrigation troubleshooting skills, 3+ years of crew management, and proficiency in Excel/Word, with a valid driver's license and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Servicing, repairing, and troubleshooting commercial irrigation systems.
• Advanced knowledge of irrigation tracking, toning, and tools.
• Experience in sales and customer service; 3+ years with service customers.
• Experience managing irrigation crews on production level; multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Two- or four-year horticultural-related degrees with industry experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; able to pass urine test.

Responsibilities

• Manage irrigation services, coordinating materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Create and communicate daily irrigation schedule for service crews and management.
• Approve employees' time daily.
• Ensure quality work by crews in the field.
• Order materials.
• Call in Miss Utility Tickets.
• Attend staff meetings as needed.
• Ensure crews meet efficiency and productivity goals.
• Assist in difficult repair troubleshooting.
• Ensure techs submit detailed repair proposals.
• Identify problems, improvements, and upsell of irrigation systems.
• Assist with recruiting and interviewing to build staff.
• Communicate, train, and develop growth plans for employees.
• Hands-on training and support of crew members.
• Perform hands-on work with crews when needed.
