Job summary

Prestonwood Landscape Services seeks a Commercial Irrigation Production Manager to lead irrigation production and crews in the Dallas area. You will oversee enhancement projects, ensure safety and quality, and manage resources to deliver exceptional results for commercial clients.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial irrigation leadership, a Texas driver’s license, and TCEQ certification. Strong organizational and MS Office skills are essential; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in commercial irrigation as a Production Manager or similar role.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
• TCEQ Irrigator Technician certification or Licensed Irrigator required.
• Familiarity with automated irrigation control systems for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee irrigation production to ensure safety, on-time completion, budget adherence, and quality.
• Manage large-scale irrigation enhancement projects including repairs, drip conversions, controller upgrades, drainage, and system improvements.
• Lead, train, and develop irrigation crews to promote safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship.
• Plan daily activities, coordinate resources, and ensure crews have plans, materials, and equipment.
• Supervise installation, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of valves, controllers, pumps, emitters, and related components.
• Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Monitor progress, labor hours, materials, and costs to stay within budget and meet goals.
• Communicate updates with clients, account managers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
• Manage equipment, tools, and machinery usage, maintenance, storage, and availability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including reports, cost tracking, billing, and progress.

This role is responsible for leading irrigation production, managing crews, overseeing enhancement projects, and ensuring high-quality results for our commercial landscape clients. • Coordinate with clients, account managers, and internal teams to communicate project updates, address concerns, and deliver exceptional service.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including job reports, cost tracking, billing paperwork, repair records, and progress updates.
