The Irrigation Operator is responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of irrigation systems across Santos GLNG sites, predominantly in the Santos GLNG Fairview field, ensuring the beneficial use of coal seam water with minimal impact on soils and ecosystems.
This role requires proactive problem-solving, effective communication with staff and contractors, and the ability to work remotely on a two weeks on, two weeks off (15/13) rostered schedule. It also involves supporting agronomic and soil health management of irrigated plantations and pastures, as well as contributing to bushfire response efforts.
This position plays a vital role in sustaining the water and land management practices that underpin Santos’ special operating license and associated cost benefits.

Ideally, you will hold Qualifications within the industry related to Certification diploma or trade based, Irrigation and / or agronomy
