Job summary

Oasis at Death Valley is seeking an experienced Resort Irrigation Manager to oversee irrigation across our landscapes, golf courses, and resort grounds. You’ll manage computer/control systems, pumps, valves, sensors, and water distribution for efficiency and plant health.

This full-time, year-round role requires coordinating crews, creating preventive maintenance plans, updating drawings of valve and head locations, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulics components related to irrigation systems, including valves, controllers and pumps.
• Ability to operate light motorized equipment.
• Familiarity with tools and materials used in ground maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Develop irrigation plans tailored to resort landscapes for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and direct personnel, equipment, and subcontractors for irrigation services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems and electrical issues.
• Document daily activities and repair records.
• Create and enforce maintenance schedules and preventative programs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues in pumps and systems.
