Job summary

XANTERRA TRAVEL COLLECTION is seeking an experienced Irrigation Manager at the Oasis at Death Valley Resort to oversee irrigation programs for landscapes, golf courses, and outdoor areas. You will manage computer/control systems, pumps, valves, sensors, and distribution needs to ensure water efficiency and plant health.

The role requires strong operations management, creating seasonal preventative maintenance guides, and updating irrigation drawings with valve and line locations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulics parts related to irrigation systems (valves, controllers, pumps).
• Ability to operate light motorized equipment.
• Knowledge of tools, methods and materials used in ground maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop irrigation plans tailored to resort landscape for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and direct personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Maintain and diagnose irrigation system problems and electrical issues.
• Document daily activities and repair records.
• Create and enforce maintenance schedules to ensure irrigation efficiency.
