Job summary

W3Global is seeking an experienced Irrigation Operations Manager in Aiken, SC to lead and grow an established irrigation department. This on-site, full-time role focuses on taking ownership, building teams, and delivering profitable growth through proactive customer engagement.

The ideal candidate will drive operations, develop scalable processes, and leverage smart irrigation platforms to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in irrigation installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing teams.
Experience growing an irrigation service business or department is highly preferred.
Experience meeting with customers, preparing proposals, and developing business opportunities.
Experience managing project scheduling, labor, equipment, materials, and billing.
Experience with Weathermatic SmartLink or other smart irrigation platforms is a plus.
Experience with Aspire software is a plus.
Irrigation certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing irrigation team.
Build systems, processes, and a culture that supports long-term growth.
Foster an environment where employees take ownership and deliver exceptional work.
Develop and execute strategies to expand irrigation services.
Identify opportunities within existing customer accounts and establish new client relationships.
Meet with customers to diagnose irrigation challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
Prepare proposals and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to drive profitable growth.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the irrigation department.
Ensure projects are scheduled efficiently and completed with high quality.
Manage labor, equipment, materials, project documentation, proposals, and billing.
Monitor key performance indicators and implement improvements to department performance.
Become proficient with company operating systems and mobile technology.
Lead the implementation and utilization of smart irrigation platforms.
Leverage technology to improve customer service, water management, communication, and operational efficiency.
