• Install, diagnose, and install electrical, mechanical, and structural irrigation components using various hand tools, power tools, precision measurement devices, and heavy equipment.
• Configure advanced precision ag tools, including remote monitoring software and variable rate irrigation (VRI) using web-based platforms, cloud-based software, and mobile apps.
• Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a technical advisor on irrigation products and best practices through customer visits, trade shows, and dealer sponsored events.
• Collaborate with management to learn system design, quoting processes, and inventory management.
• Gain a full understanding of dealership operations, accounting practices, and vendor relations.

Vandenberg Irrigation, located in David City, NE is seeking an ambitious, business-minded professional to join our dealership in a full-time career as an Irrigation Operations Lead. Initial focus will be on the technical aspect of the role, dedicating time to learning the irrigation systems inside and out through structured classroom and hands-on field training. Secondary training will focus on management and leadership training with a defined path to a future leadership position. Prior irrigation experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in structured technical training programs to gain a full understanding of center pivot irrigation systems.

Install, diagnose, and install electrical, mechanical, and structural irrigation components using various hand tools, power tools, precision measurement devices, and heavy equipment.

Configure advanced precision ag tools, including remote monitoring software and variable rate irrigation (VRI) using web-based platforms, cloud-based software, and mobile apps.

Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a technical advisor on irrigation products and best practices through customer visits, trade shows, and dealer sponsored events.

Collaborate with management to learn system design, quoting processes, and inventory management.

Gain a full understanding of dealership operations, accounting practices, and vendor relations.
