Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, integration, and synchronization of IW and SA for combatant commands
  • Advise leadership on IW/SA capabilities to achieve strategic and tactical effects
  • Develop and coordinate IW/SA concepts, plans, and activities to support campaigns
  • Coordinate across PSYOP, OPSEC, MILDEC, cyberspace, intelligence, EW, and other domains
  • Identify opportunities to influence adversary decision-making and partner objectives
  • Coordinate with interagency, multinational, and mission partner organizations
  • Assess environments, adversary networks, and influence opportunities for planning
  • Develop recommendations on authorities, risks, and mitigations for IW/SA
  • Support operational assessments and recommend adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IW doctrine and emerging threats

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, integration, and synchronization of Irregular Warfare (IW) and Sensitive Activities (SA) in support of combatant command, joint force, and special operations objectives
  • Advise leadership on the application of IW and SA capabilities to achieve strategic, operational, and tactical effects across the information, human, and physical dimensions of the operational environment
  • Develop and coordinate IW and SA concepts, plans, and activities that support campaign objectives, competition activities, and contingency operations
  • Integrate efforts across PSYOP, OPSEC, MILDEC, cyberspace operations, intelligence, EW, and other non-kinetic capabilities to achieve desired effects
  • Identify opportunities to influence adversary decision-making, shape operational environments, and enable partner force objectives through IW and SA activities
  • Coordinate with joint, interagency, intergovernmental, multinational, and mission partner organizations to synchronize planning and execution efforts
  • Assess operational environments, adversary networks, human terrain, and influence opportunities to inform planning and decision-making
  • Develop recommendations for operational approaches, authorities, risks, and mitigation measures associated with IW and SA activities
  • Support operational assessments by measuring the effectiveness of IW and SA activities and recommending adjustments to improve outcomes
  • Provide subject matter expertise on IW doctrine, SA integration, operational planning, and emerging threats impacting mission success
Qualifications
Required
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in International Relations, National Security Studies, Political Science, Military Science, Intelligence Studies, or similar field of study
  • 10+ years of experience supporting Irregular Warfare, Sensitive Activities, Information Operations, Special Operations, intelligence, or related operational disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience supporting operational planning, campaign development, and execution of activities in complex and contested environments
  • Experience integrating multiple military, intelligence, diplomatic, informational, and partner capabilities to achieve operational objectives
  • Ability to advise senior leaders on operational risks, authorities, opportunities, and courses of action associated with IW and SA activities
Desired
  • Master's degree in National Security Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Military Operations, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting Special Operations Forces (SOF), Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), Joint Task Forces, or other Department of Defense organizations conducting IW and SA activities
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance and demonstrated experience supporting sensitive, compartmented, or special access programs

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$71,500 - $150,200
