Rehabilitation team members are licensed or certified professionals (physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/language pathologists, social workers or therapeutic recreation specialists) who work within a specific team structure to offer inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation services. These services are offered to the acute‑care hospital, the acute inpatient rehabilitation facility (Dodd Hall), or outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, or other neurogenic disorders, orthopedic problems, burns, amputations, or chronic pain. The rehabilitation team member reports to the rehabilitation team leaders as part of the overall Rehabilitation Services Division structure.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
