Job description

Job Title: IRP-Physical Therapist

Department: Ambulatory Services | Healthy New Albany Physical Therapy

The Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Physical Therapist is currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Ohio. This individual will work within a team-oriented sports medicine rehabilitation program. These services are offered via outpatient service sites to patients who have disorders and conditions associated primarily with orthopedic and sports-related injuries.

The Sports Medicine Physical Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Sports Medicine and under direct supervision of the Sports Medicine Rehab Team Leader. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio.

Practices within the Medical Center's policies and procedures. Adheres to the Intensive Caring Value statements as demonstrated through positive patient/guest relations, positive and effective interactions with staff, and formulating and meeting developmental goals.

Minimum Qualifications

All Physical Therapist team members must hold current licensure with the State of Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Training Board.
