Job summary

HTH Companies is seeking an Ironworker in Saint Charles, MO to install pre-engineered metal buildings and perform connecting work at elevated heights. Familiarity with basic hand signals, rigging, and welding is a plus.

The role demands strict safety adherence and the ability to operate various hand tools. Responsibilities include following supervisor directions, maintaining equipment, and working effectively in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must participate in safety training and wear proper PPE.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisor and work at heights.
• Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs; welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, wearing correct PPE, and observing for oneself and others.
• Shows up on time and ready to complete work.
• Follows directions of manager/lead/superintendent and clarifies responsibilities if needed.
• Respects self, coworkers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.
• Takes care of company owned or rented equipment returning in like manor.
• Adaptable in methods used to complete task.

Position overview:

The ironworker must have the ability to install pre-engineered metal building perform connecting work, and perform work at above ground elevations. Familiarity with basic hand signals and basic rigging knowledge, Safety knowledge while working at heights is required. Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs, and welding a plus.
