TEI Construction Services, Inc. seeks a skilled JM Ironworker to join our team on Covanta projects. You'll install and fabricate structural steel and metal components, reading blueprints and ensuring adherence to safety standards and project specs.

You will work in challenging environments at height, lifting heavy objects and using hand and power tools; collaboration with ironworkers, supervisors, and site personnel is essential for quality and on-time completion.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or relevant training program for Ironworkers.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel erection and fabrication in a construction context.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols related to ironworking.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in tight spaces or at high elevations.
  • Strong mathematical skills to accurately measure and cut materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Responsibilities
